Location: West Town
Training: One-on-one training and shadow shift with Pharmacy Director (30mins + 4hrs)
Prerequisites: Negative TB test within the last year, pharmacy technician license (anyone can apply for a license, students are automatically licensed, volunteers need not be certified)
Responsibilities: Volunteer pharmacy technicians, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, are responsible for intake, processing, and filling of prescriptions as well as inventory of medications and pharmacy supplies.
Commitment: Two 4hr shifts/month for one year
Onboarding and training of new clinic volunteers is restricted as we manage limited on-site capacity in order maintain physical distancing, preserve PPE, etc. However, if you would like to hear from us when we are able to resume onboarding of new volunteers, please sign up for our waitlist.
