Let’s talk about health care in Chicago.
CommunityHealth invites you to participate in our All In campaign.
All In is a series of education, thought leadership, and networking events focused on generating solutions to help all Chicago residents access health care.
All In events are open to anyone who values Quality Health Care for All. Everyone from industry professionals to corporate partners to community leaders to students is welcome to join the conversation. Your voice matters.
The New Normal
In discussion about how to continue the advancement of health equity as we live in the new normal, health care professionals asked the question:
How can we ensure access to the right health care, at the right time, in the right place for all Chicagoans?
The panel talked about matters such as expectations for Medicaid redetermination, responses to labor shortages, and political lapses throughout the Public Health Emergency.
However, the main focus of the conversation illuminated the need for community-based organizations to continue the collaboration that carried us and our communities through the pandemic.
CommunityHealth had the honor of hosting our community partners…
- Cristal Gary – Chief Advocacy Officer at Ascension Illinois
- Dan Fulwiler – Chief Executive Director at Esperanza Health Centers
- Samantha Olds Frey – Chief Executive Officer at Illinois Association of Medicaid Health Plans
- Michele Smith, Ed.D. – Director of Workforce & Team Member Development at Advocate Aurora Health
- Luvia Quiñones, MPP – Senior Director of Health Policy at Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights
- Stephanie Willding, MPA– Chief Executive Officer at CommunityHealth
The Next Generation
On May 31th, CommunityHealth partnered with EY and Health Care Council of Chicago (HC3) to host “The Next Generation of Leadership: Impacting the Health and Wellness of Our Local Communities.”
The event featured a conversation with the recipients of Crain Chicago Business‘ 40 Under 40 and their social impact career journeys.
Revolutionary leaders like James Lott, CEO and Founder of Scripted, talked about career development within the health care sphere while managing business models that not only expand access but also increase quality of care.
CommunityHealth is proud to partner with IAFCC (Illinois Association of Free and Charitable Clinics) for a conversation on Redefining Access to Health Care. Learn how collaborations and partnerships between free and charitable clinics, hospitals, and government entities help leverage resources, expertise, and infrastructure to ensure a more comprehensive and coordinated health care safety net in Chicago and Illinois.
