In its third year, at the CHEST 2025 Annual Meeting in Chicago, CHEST Community Connections will partner with the Chicago Asthma Consortium, Mobile Care Chicago, and CommunityHealth. The Community Connections program was created to both meaningfully engage with community health and service providers in the annual meeting host city and amplify the unique perspectives and community-minded solutions that these organizations are implementing for CHEST meeting attendees that they can apply in their own work.
“By design, Community Connections asks questions in place of offering solutions. We ask, ‘How can we help you do more,’ instead of saying, ‘This is what we are willing to give,’” said Elizabeth Stigler, PhD, Director of DEIB at CHEST. “As a nonprofit organization, we know that no one understands the needs of our association or our audience quite like we do, and we extend that same respect to our community partners.”
