CommunityHealth has been rapidly growing, expanding our footprint to multiple locations across the Chicagoland area. In an effort to reach an even bigger pool of community members seeking accessible healthcare, we are pleased to announce that we will be opening our FOURTH location- CommunityHealth at The Resurrection Project- this March.
Our clinic will be located in The Resurrection Project’s Casa Hidalgo location in the Back of the Yards neighborhood. The Resurrection Project has been committed to its mission of creating community ownership, building community wealth, and serving as stewards of community assets in Chicago’s southwest neighborhoods. In partnering with The Resurrection Project, CommunityHealth’s patients will have on-site access to The Resurrection Project’s resources as well.
Resources from The Resurrection Project are focused around financial wellness, affordable housing, immigration, and civic engagement. “Full Circle Homes,” which offers support for home buying, and “HOPE Family Services,” which aims to strengthen families’ connection, are just some of the programs The Resurrection Project provides that will be available for CommunityHealth patients to take part in. CommunityHealth will be providing doctor visits, lab work, medication pickup, and referrals to dentist and other specialty services that are located in our West Town headquarters. Our decision to partner with The Resurrection Project is intended to bring accessible healthcare closer to the homes of people who need it while providing direct connections to other essential services.
CommunityHealth at The Resurrection Project will begin seeing patients in March. We are counting down the days to the opening, and eagerly awaits being able to serve our communities and provide support to a broader range of patients with The Resurrection Project.
