Long-time funder, partner, and ally of CommunityHealth, Lundbeck, announces $1 million grant.
Lundbeck, a global pharmaceutical company specializing in brain diseases, has supported our clinic for over a decade.
The company is committed to researching, developing, and delivering transformative therapies for brain diseases.
We are excited to share that our cherished partner has granted $1 million for programs aimed at removing access barriers and improving quality health care, to be split between CommunityHealth and BUILD.
$750,000 of the $1 million will be directed toward CommunityHealth.
With this new funding, CommunityHealth “will be able to expand three critical pillars of our care model – addressing critical mental and behavioral health needs in the community, increasing our care coordination capacity, and physically expanding our facilities.”
The grant will go toward…
- expanding our vital in-person and telehealth services into new neighborhood locations.
- improving access to mental and behavioral health care through additional sites of care, outreach, and foreign language programs.
- increasing our ability to coordinate patient care.
- developing clinic facilities to better serve patients.
“Our clinics offer critical services to low-income, uninsured and under-insured adults. This population typically faces significant obstacles to health, including economic instability, housing issues, neighborhood safety challenges, language barriers, pollution, and racism – which are all factors associated with mental and behavioral health challenges, as well.” – Chief Executive Officer of CommunityHealth, Stephanie Willding, MPA
