The 2023 series kicked off with the 9th Annual Breakfast Summit and The Next Generation of Leadership…
The New Normal
On Thursday, May 4th, The Metropolitan on Thursday, May 4th, All In hosted the 9th Annual Breakfast Summit, The New Normal.
In discussion about how to continue the advancement of health equity as we live in the new normal, health care professionals asked the question:
How can we ensure access to the right health care, at the right time, in the right place for all Chicagoans?
The panel talked about matters such as expectations for Medicaid redetermination, responses to labor shortages, and political lapses throughout the Public Health Emergency.
However, the main focus of the conversation illuminated the need for community-based organizations to continue the collaboration that carried us and our communities through the pandemic.
CommunityHealth had the honor of hosting our community partners…
- Cristal Gary – Chief Advocacy Officer at Ascension Illinois
- Dan Fulwiler – Chief Executive Director at Esperanza Health Centers
- Samantha Olds Frey – Chief Executive Officer at Illinois Association of Medicaid Health Plans
- Michele Smith, Ed.D. – Director of Workforce & Team Member Development at Advocate Aurora Health
